This Privacy Policy explains how BuildPro Management ("we," "us," or "our") accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes information when you use the BuildPro Management mobile application, website and related services.
1. Information entered into the app
The app may allow users to enter project names, customer information, quotes, invoices, expenses, employee names, labor records, payroll details, payment records, company-profile information and other business data. Information may be stored locally on the user's device and, when account synchronization is enabled, may also be stored with the user's BuildPro Management account.
2. Account and sign-in information
BuildPro Management collects the email address a user provides to create and access an account. The service creates an internal user ID and sends a temporary six-digit verification code to that email address. The verification code is used only to confirm account ownership, expires after a limited time and is not stored in readable form. BuildPro Management does not require or store a permanent account password.
Secure login-session tokens may be used to keep the user signed in. Account and authentication information is used for sign-in, account security, cloud synchronization, subscription access and account management.
3. Photos, camera and files
With the user's permission, the app may access the camera, photo picker or file picker so the user can capture or select project photos, videos, receipt images and other attachments. The app accesses only the items the user chooses or captures. Selected content may be stored locally, synchronized to the user's BuildPro Management account or included in backups.
4. Backups, synchronization and cloud storage
BuildPro Management may synchronize business information entered by the user, including projects, customer and job information, quotes, invoices, payments, expenses, receipts, payroll and labor records, employee information, project photos, videos, audio, attachments and backup data.
Cloud account information is processed using Cloudflare services, including Workers, D1 database storage and R2 object storage. This processing is used to provide authentication, synchronization, backup, restore and other app functionality.
Users may also create backups through Android's system document picker or save files to a supported storage provider selected by the user. Third-party storage providers process those files under their own privacy policies. BuildPro Management does not receive the user's Google Drive password.
5. Biometrics and PIN security
Fingerprint authentication is handled by Android's secure biometric system. The app does not receive or store fingerprint images or biometric templates. A user-created PIN may be stored locally for app access.
6. Google Play and Apple subscriptions
If a paid subscription is offered, purchases and billing are processed by Google Play or Apple. BuildPro Management may receive purchase status, subscription status and transaction identifiers needed to provide subscription access, restore purchases and prevent fraud. BuildPro Management does not receive or store the user's full payment-card details.
7. Stripe, PayPal and Square payment links
The app may allow a business user to create or add Stripe, PayPal or Square payment links to invoices. When a customer follows one of those links, the selected payment provider handles the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. BuildPro Management does not store customers' full payment-card details.
8. Device and diagnostic information
The app may process basic device, app-version, network or diagnostic information needed for compatibility, security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting. BuildPro Management does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising SDKs in the app.
9. Service providers and data sharing
We do not sell user information. Information may be processed by service providers only as necessary to operate requested app features, including:
- Cloudflare for account authentication, cloud synchronization, database processing and file storage.
- Resend for delivery of temporary six-digit email verification codes.
- Google Play or Apple for subscriptions, billing and purchase-status verification.
- Stripe, PayPal or Square when users choose to use those payment services.
Information may also be shared when the user intentionally exports, prints, emails, backs up or shares records, or when disclosure is required by law.
10. Data retention and account deletion
Users may delete individual records inside the app. Verification challenges and expired login sessions are removed after their applicable retention periods. Account information and synchronized content remain until the user deletes the account, or longer only when retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
In-app deletion: Users can permanently delete their BuildPro Management account and associated cloud data from Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account & Cloud Data inside the app.
Web deletion request: Users who no longer have access to the app can request deletion at BuildPro Management Account Deletion.
Account deletion removes the user's email account, active login sessions, synchronized database content and cloud media or backup files associated with that account. Separately exported files or backups controlled by the user are not automatically deleted from the user's device or personal storage provider and must be deleted separately by the user.
Deleting a BuildPro Management account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be canceled through the applicable store.
11. Children's privacy
BuildPro Management is a business productivity app and is not directed to children under 13.
12. Security
BuildPro Management uses HTTPS/TLS encryption when transmitting account, authentication, synchronization and subscription information. Verification codes expire after a limited time, and security controls are used to protect login sessions and reduce unauthorized access.
The app also supports local security features such as optional PIN or biometric access. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and users are responsible for protecting their devices, email accounts and exported backup files.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, services or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
